FAQ 57: Keeping kids on trackCategory: Everything else | Updated: 03/16/2011 4:39 PM
You might use DNS Redirector to prevent children from getting distracted before or after school. Perhaps set it so Internet access isn't available
during bedtime, or when your not home to supervise. This is in addition to the BlockedIP= function for filtering out inappropriate material.
You might run DNS Redirector on an extra PC in the basement or a locked computer in your office, with nothing running directly on their
laptop/desktop there is nothing for them to tamper with or disable.
For older kids you might allow them more freedom on the Internet but then set Logging=Full so you can check what sites their visiting,
or choose to restrict just a handful of known risky sites.
