FAQ 162: Special considerations for Apple devices

Category: Troubleshooting | Updated: 06/14/2014 3:32 PM

Do not use a DNS suffix ending in .local if your network has devices running Apple iOS.

If a .local domain is required to reach (or included within) your welcome, blocked, or other pages used by DNS Redirector you will experience trouble reaching those pages or toggling the device as authorized or bypassing the block.
